Shawn Day, President & Founder
Hi, I'm Shawn Day, president and founder of Big Horn Records. After spending most of my life immersed in the music industry, both overseas and stateside I decided to move home to Sheridan, Wyoming to be closer to family. After moving home and being nominated to serve as a board member for the Wyoming Arts Alliance in 2022 I started to notice a lack of resources for both established and up-and-coming artists. I felt a calling to represent and help develop these Wyoming-based artists.
In early 2023, I decided to take the leap and establish a new, Wyoming-based record label, Big Horn Records. Since starting Big Horn Records I have been fortunate to work with David Adcock from Red Light Management (Chris Stapleton/Dave Matthews Band/Parker McCollum) and Ryan Bowersox. David's expertise in the industry combined with my experience as a solo artist and band member allowed Big Horn Records to secure its first contract with this region's top act, Tris Munsick & the Innocents.

The collective aim of Big Horn Records is to support Wyoming-based artists in the country western genre and assist them with creating strategic release cycles, releasing new music, organizing tours, and securing press coverage.
We're launching this crowdfunding campaign to help with costs associated with securing and supporting Wyoming-based artists. These costs include management and lawyer fees as well as an artist advance.

Hey everyone, I wanted to take a moment to express my gratitude to everyone who was able to attend the official ribbon-cutting ceremony for Big Horn Records. This was a significant moment in bringing Big Horn Records from concept to Wyoming.
We’re so blessed and fortunate to live in a state rich with talent, and we are excited to assist artists ranging from the Capital to Teton Valley and everywhere in between.
